What Else You’ll Need
A Squarespace Business Plan
When it comes time for your site to go-live, you’ll need to upgrade to a Squarespace Business plan. But don’t worry - if you pay annually, you’ll qualify for a 20% discount on top of the annual-fee saving and bonuses (this is for brand new Squarespace subscriptions only).
Domain Name
This is your websites virtual address. If you’re paying for your Squarespace subscription annually, you’ll qualify for a free domain for your first year. If you’ve already purchased your domain elsewhere, that’s not to worry – we’ll link up your new domain name before your Website in a Week project and pop-up a ‘coming soon’ page.
Visual Brand Assets
If you’ve got a logo and brand style guide (think, colour palette and fonts) along with a few brand images of you and your team, you’re ready to roll! Don’t have these things? Unique Copy
Each of our templates come with an editable copy document, so you’ll know what copy you’ll need to provide us for each page on your site. Canva Pro
All of our template graphics are editable within Canva. If you wish to make edits to your graphics, or add in new ones from the templates we provide, you’ll need a Canva Pro account to allow you to upload your custom fonts and gives you access to loads of beautiful stock images you can use to promote your services.

This is where we’ll create your site map, and talk you through your customised itinerary, to help ensure you’ve got everything you need packed inside your luggage (Google drive), ready to fly with us when your Website in a Week arrival date rolls around.

Take Off Call & Pre-Planning
A great adventure, is an adventure that goes to plan. That’s why it’s crucial you know exactly what needs doing, and when, in the lead-up to your Website in a Week project.
During your take off call, we’ll talk you through all the things you need to think of before your ‘trip’, and provide our pre-planning checklist – so we can reach the final destination (you having a brand new, beautiful and functional website!) with as little turbulence as possible.
Organising & Scheduling
We see it all the time – clients eager to get their website off the ground, and soaring through the skies, only to be grounded by the fact there are multiple things that need doing before they can even board the plane.
We’ve mapped out your journey from Take Off Call to Website Launch day. Our Website in a Week checklists help you plan time to write your copy (or book in with us to write it for you), get professional brand shots, and of course design your visual brand. You’ll feel confident you haven’t forgotten to pack a single thing, as you tick off each item.
Flight Preparation
You’ve secured your ticket, and are eagerly awaiting your departure date. It’s time to get familiar with your Flight Path and Timeline, which cover all the key milestones for getting you to your Website in a Week project date with your sanity intact.
You’ll receive access to our Business Lounge -here’s where we’ve got step-by-step video instructions on how to provide us with your content, photography and brand assets, and give us secure access to any accounts we need to link up to your site (think: Instagram and mailing list platforms). If we could find a way to send it through the internet, we’d be serving you your favourite beverage on arrival!
Pack your suitcase – it’s almost go-time!
Two weeks out from your scheduled Website in a Week project start date, is when you’ll ensure all of your content, brand assets, photography and login details have been provided, to make our time together throughout Website in a Week, turbulent-free.
Your co-pilots, Emma & Elle, will do a final-bag check to ensure we’ve got everything that’s required from you, not later than 14-days from take-off.
It’s time to fly!
Your Website in a Week project start date has finally arrived! The Brand Method team will fly you to the destination of ‘dream website’, delivering you content daily. You’ll review each piece of content overnight and provide feedback to the team to make any required updates the following day.
Unlike your ordinary plane ride, we request you do not turn your phone on aeroplane mode – we’ll require you to be available for feedback daily, with your goodies delivered by 5pm each day, and feedback required no later than 8am the following morning.
Your final destination
On the Friday of your Website in a Week project, we’ll officially unveil your website, so you can embark on your next adventure.
We’ll book a final call with you, around midday, to walk you through the most important parts of your site.
You’ll also receive access to our library of videos, tools, resources and links, that will help you navigate how to update and manage your site moving forward.

A note on payments…
We get it – deciding to invest in your business is no small decision, and it’s one we value immensely when clients choose to trust us with their website creations. So you have all the need-to-know information about how payments are structured, we wanted to lay it all out on the table.
The first step on your journey:
First off, all Website in a Week clients start with a Take Off Call – this is the same as our Website Strategy Sessions.
This call allows us to get to know your business, help you formulate your ideas for your website and create a plan for making it happen. The $550 payment for your Take Off Call goes towards your initial deposit to book your Website in a Week project in our calendar.
From here, we offer 3 simple payment options:
Pay in Full
The remaining $4950 (incl. GST) can be paid in full.
Receive the BONUS of our expert Team Reviewing your Copy for FREE.
Pay in 4
You’ll pay 25% to secure your project in our calendar (your initial Take Off Call deposit will be deducted from this amount). Then you’ll pay the remaining amount in 25% installments.
8 Week Payment Plan
You’ll still need to pay a 25% deposit to secure your project in our calendar (your initial Take Off Call deposit will be deducted from this amount). We’ll then set you up with a weekly direct debit of $620/week through our online system.
Your 25% Booking Deposit is non-refundable once your project has been booked into our calendar. You may move your Website in a Week project date, if rescheduling no later than 28 days before your booking start date. If you need to reschedule after this date, a 25% re-booking fee will apply. However, this is subject to availability in our calendar.
Website in a Week projects are generally booked between 8-12 weeks out, with 100% of your Website in a Week project fee is due 7 days prior to your Website in a Week project start date. – please keep this in mind when choosing your preferred payment plan.
Our team will work with you to find the best dates available in our calendar, that also match your preferred payment options.

In our 10+ years of designing websites, it's become our go-to web designing tool for clients who want the flexibility of updating their sites themselves and a website that grows with their business.

These templates are built for Squarespace, and come fully-installed on your brand new Squarespace site.

Squarespace is a super flexible option, with the ability to add additional sections of content. Whilst your template comes fully installed on a new Squarespace site, we'll show you the ins-and-outs of how to customise the look and feel of your site, duplicate pages and add extra features if you need to. The graphics in your template are all completely customisable in Canva Pro.

In addition to your template you'll need to purchase a Squarespace subscription when you're ready to launch. The good news is, when you pay annually, you'll receive a free domain registration for the first 12 months! If paying month-to-month, you'll need to purchase your domain separately (which you can do through Squarespace as well!

You don't need to be a cyber-nerd to create your website using our templates (that's what we're here for!). Occasionally we'll use a bit of custom-code in our templates, but this comes fully installed already in your template. If there's anything you'll need to edit or know (like adding your own custom brand fonts) we'll provide you with step-by-step, copy and paste instructions along with a video tutorial. Simples!

Unfortunately, no – each template is built separately and installed on a brand new Squarespace website.

For most websites, it is easier to start with a brand new Squarespace site and have your chosen template installed there.
